Laura Ruggeri is a visual communication professional —she loves design in all its forms.

I’ve been a visual communication professional for a long time and enjoy using my skills to create clear communication. My experience ranges from design for corporate images, books, marketing materials, exhibition graphics, calligrams, desktop and mobile application interfaces to color design for architecture.
I am very happy when I can use my skills in support of worthwhile humanitarian efforts.
Very adept at working remotely.

I am passionate about graphic marks, typefaces and pixels, not just where they sit or what color they are but how and why they make people react and respond.

My skills and passions

Design and production of a wide variety of graphic materials such as marketing materials, brochures, magazines, books, posters, exhibition graphics and web based application interfaces.
Work effectively with minimal supervision and/or as part of a larger team, including art directing the work of others such as photographers, illustrators, exhibition installers and developers.
Creative, detail oriented and well organized. Able to take projects from concept to final production.
Ability to understand complex scenarios and develop creative solutions.
Coordinate research across multi-discipline teams to discover requirements.
Excellent typographic skills.
Strong knowledge of printing processes, work directly with printers.
Long term experience designing interfaces for web application.
Long term use of the Adobe Creative Suite on Mac platform and WordPress.
Speak English and Italian. International, multi-cultural work experience.
